The peer review function as a method for assessment different articles according to the quality, validity and originality of it. It’s a way of maintaining the integrity of science by filtering the invalid articles.  When you received an invitation for peer reviewing an article, the first thing you have to do is to scamming, and that way you could get a general idea of what the article is about.  When you´re about to read the text for the first time be aware of the main topic and how original it is, pay attention to the principal questions, are they interesting or relevant for the topic the article is about?; take note about the structure of the text and if it is easy to read or to complicated; in the conclusion, note if there consistency with the arguments present and the evidence; If the text includes charts or figures, be aware if they are complement the article or if they are superfluous.
